Akhnoor, March 16 (Hindustan Reporter) BJP leader and District Development Council member Pandit Suresh Sharma along with administrative officials held a Janata Darbar in Panchayat Gangal and Dhanna Jalada of Block Chowki Chaura of Assembly Chhamb and listened to the problems of the people.
People from both the Panchayats participated in this Janata Darbar and informed Suresh Sharma about the problems being faced in their respective areas. Suresh Sharma listened to all the problems carefully and asked the administrative officials present there to solve them immediately while some problems were solved on the spot.
Addressing the people, Suresh Sharma said that development work is being done at a fast pace in every village and locality. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, work on new water projects is going on at a fast pace in every panchayat. Once their construction work is completed, the water problem in the area will be solved. Old pipes are being replaced and taps will be installed in those houses which do not have taps.
Efforts are underway to connect every village and locality with a pucca road. The work of making concrete roads is going on continuously in all the panchayats. Work on many more new roads will be started in the coming days. New transformers have been installed in the villages where there was low voltage problem and some will be installed in the coming days. Efforts are underway to improve the education and health infrastructure. Apart from this, Suresh Sharma completed the repair and renovation work of the building of Primary Health Center Gangal which was in a dilapidated condition since long and also inaugurated it.
Suresh Sharma said that today many welfare schemes are being run all over India under the leadership of the country's successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 80 crore people across the country are getting free ration. Under Ayushman Bharat, crores of people of the country are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh today in the biggest hospitals. Today, under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Awas Yojana, crores of pucca houses have been built across the country. The work of big mega products, AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Jammu Poonch National Highway is also going on at a fast pace. Our efforts are continuing day and night for the betterment and progress of the area.
