DC inspected the strong room, took stock of the preparations

Fatehabad, 17 May (Hindustan Reporter) District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal inspected the strong room installed in the community center of Ratia on Friday in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections. During this, he got detailed information about the work being done by the strong room and all the officers and personnel. During this, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the EVM and VVPAT machines and gave necessary directions to the concerned officials.

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal inspected and took information about various arrangements related to the elections from the officers appointed for the Lok Sabha elections. He instructed all the officers to conduct the Lok Sabha elections in a fair and peaceful manner. He said that all the officers and employees should understand each and every point and work in harmony. All officers and security force personnel on duty should discharge their responsibilities with full vigilance and devotion. A close watch should be kept on the people coming and going in the strong room.

While instructing the officials, he said that while preparing the EVM machines, they should properly check the charging of the batteries used in them. Apart from this, thoroughly check all types of forms and other materials used in the voting process. He instructed the concerned officials to ensure CCTV cameras, security, lights, cleanliness and adherence to rules in the strong room. On this occasion, the officials demonstrated EVM operation in front of the political parties in the strong room established in the community centre, and also answered the questions asked by the people. During this, information about EVM machines and VVPAT was given to political parties through mock poll.

On this occasion, Ratia SDM Jagdish Chandra, Tehsildar Vijay Kumar, BDPO Vikas Kumar Langyan, Naib Tehsildar Ashok Kumar, Master Trainer Avnish Garg, Mahendra Matana and officials related to the election process were present.
