Ludhiana : Most districts of the state experienced bright sunshine on Thursday, although some districts also experienced rain along with sunshine. Rupnagar district received 8.5 mm of rain. Ferozepur received 3.5 mm of rain, Ludhiana received 0.5 mm of rain. The highest temperature of the day was recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius in Jalandhar district.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.3 degrees Celsius in Ludhiana, 36.1 degrees in Amritsar, 35.6 degrees in Ferozepur, 34.9 degrees in Moga and 34.5 degrees Celsius in Gurdaspur. During the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature has dropped by 1.5 degrees Celsius, which is normal in the state. According to the Meteorological Center Chandigarh, the weather is expected to remain clear for the next few days.
