Chardham Yatra 2024: The date of closure of the doors of Badrinath Dham has been announced. Today, on the occasion of Vijay Dashami, formal Panchang calculation was done in Shri Badrinath Dham temple complex. This time the doors will be closed as per the rules on 17th November at 9.07 pm. More than 11 lakh devotees have reached Badrinath Dham so far.
This Yatra year, the doors of the world famous Shri Badrinath Dham will be closed for winter on Sunday, November 17 at 9.07 pm. Chairman of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, Ajendra Ajay said that today on the occasion of Vijay Dashami, the date of closing of the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham Temple complex was formally decided after the Panchang calculation.
He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the able leadership of State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a large number of devotees came on Chardham Yatra. With the efforts of the government and the temple committee, all facilities have been provided to the pilgrims.
Lakhs of devotees reached Chardham
- Till now more than 11 lakh devotees have reached Shri Badrinath Dham.
- More than 13.5 lakh devotees have reached Shri Kedarnath Dham.
- 24.5 lakh devotees have visited Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath.
- A total of 38 lakh devotees have arrived on the Chardham Yatra.
Maa Navdurga Tila was worshiped along with Kanya Puja in Bharari temple.
On the occasion of the ninth day of Navratri, Kanya Puja and worship of Maa Siddhidatri form was done in the prestigious Goddess Maa Navdurga Tila Bharari temple in Badrinath Marg Kanchanganga area. Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Vice President Kishore Panwar reached the mother's temple with his family and participated in the puja and sought blessings for the happiness and peace of the area.
On this occasion, Jai Maa Nanda Committee President Rajdev Mehta and Padmendra Bhandari welcomed BKTC Vice President Kishore Panwar by covering him with a shawl. A huge bhandara was organized by Jai Maa Nanda Samiti Bamani, Pandukeshwar in the mother's temple, before which Maa Durga's worship, Kanya Puja and Prasad were distributed.
BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur told that on the day of Vijay Dashami, Durga Puja of Shri Badrinath Temple complex will be concluded with Yagya Havan. On this occasion, BKTC Vice President Kishore Panwar and President Rajdev Mehta, Padmendra Bhandari, Amit Panwar, Sudhir Mehta, Virendra Bhandari, Ranjit Bhandari etc. were present.
