Where is the biggest danger?

The Meteorological Department has specifically issued an alert for these districts:

• Kumaon Mandal: Nainital, Champawat, Almora, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh.
• Garhwal Mandal: Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pauri Garhwal.

The capital Dehradun and the surrounding areas have also been cloudy since this morning and it has been raining intermittently, which has suddenly dropped in the temperature and has started feeling cold.
