Nainital, 5 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the ongoing Wildlife Week 2024 at the headquarters, a dance competition was organized at Nainital Zoo on Saturday. In this program organized under the direction of Zoological Park Director and Divisional Forest Officer Chandrashekhar Joshi, 50 students from different schools of Nainital participated in group and solo dance competitions on the theme 'Wildlife Conservation Co-existence'.
In the group dance competition, Mohan Lal Sah Bal Vidya Mandir got first place, Bishop Shaw Inter College got second place and Government Inter College got third place. In the solo dance competition, Refineti Joshi of Bal Vidya Mandir got first position, Dheeraj of Rashtriya Shaheed Sainik Memorial Vidyapeeth got second position and Rohit Arya of Bishop Shaw got third position.
Forest range officers Trilok Bora and Deepika Mer were in the jury. The program was coordinated by Nidhi and Anuj Kandpal. Green Zoo Ambassadors also supported the event. On this occasion, 88 students were also given a free tour of the zoo under the leadership of Priyanka.
Forest Range Officer Pramod Tiwari, Dharam Singh Bonal, Pushkar Mehra and Mahesh Bora and all the officers and employees of the zoological park were present in the program.
