Damoh, 17 August (HS). A tense situation developed in Hata town of Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. The case is related to hit and run. People from Hindu and Muslim organizations gathered in large numbers regarding the case, due to which a tense situation developed. An attempt was made by the supporters to close the market.
As soon as the information was received, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar sent City Magistrate Meena Masram and Superintendent of Police Shrutkriti Somvanshi sent Additional Superintendent of Police Sandeep Mishra to Hata. Both the officers immediately took charge and started efforts to control the situation. Heavy police force has been deployed here.
It is noteworthy that on Friday, a Muslim youth crushed a cow and a person with a four-wheeler due to which the cow died on the spot, while the injured youth was sent to Jabalpur Medical College where he died on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police Somvanshi says that the accused is in custody, the case was registered earlier, now a case of culpable homicide will also be registered. Additional Superintendent of Police Sandeep Mishra, while giving information, said that the situation is under control, we are keeping an eye on every situation, full action will be taken as per the intention of the law.
