Ramgarh, 3 August (HS). Damodar river is in spate in the district. The water level of the river has risen so much that flood water has entered the city as well as rural areas. Almost all the houses of Azad Basti located in Golpar, Purni Mandap of Ramgarh city have been submerged. People have suffered huge losses.
Food grains and other essential items have been destroyed due to water. District administration officials and public representatives are helping the people. Water is visible everywhere. There are no roads left for people to reach their homes. People are forced to leave their homes and live on the streets. These people are being provided food and water by social workers.
