Noida, 27 November (Hindustan Reporter). Dabang Delhi KC snatched victory from Patna Pirates and tied the 78th match of the 11th season of Pro Kabaddi League, played under Revenge Week, 39-39 at Noida Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night. This is the seventh overall tie of this season, the third for Delhi and the first for Patna.

Till the 30th minute, Patna was leading 33-25 but then Delhi made a comeback thanks to Ashish’s super raid and took the lead by all-out Patna but then Patna maintained its composure and tied the match. For Patna, Devank scored 15 points while Deepak and Ankit scored 7 and 5 points respectively.

Ashu once again hit a Super-10 for Delhi while Ashish scored seven points with a Super Raid. Naveen also contributed 6 points.

After this match, both the teams remain at sixth and seventh position respectively.

Both teams made a great start. After five minutes, Patna was leading 6-5. This includes four points from Devank and three points from Ashu along with Super Raid. Meanwhile, Ashish caught Ayaan, who came on the first raid, making the score 6-6. Meanwhile, Ankit put Patna ahead by hunting Ashu in the Do or Die Raid.

However, Ashish leveled the issue by holding Devank’s ankle. After this, in defense of five, Naveen came on do or die raid but was caught. After 10 minutes, Patna was leading 8-7. After the break, Patna was ahead by two points and a super tackle was on for Delhi, which they could not take advantage of and were all out and trailed by 8-14.

After the all-in, Patna increased the gap by taking six points against 1 thanks to Devank’s multi-point raid. Patna thus changed sides with the score 20-9. Devank had completed his Super-10. Super tackle was on for Delhi but they could not take advantage of it and were all out for the second time. Now Patna was ahead by 24-11.

After this, however, thanks to Ashu, Delhi made a comeback by taking 4 points against 1.

Delhi’s defense then sealed it by catching Devank. Now Patna were on the verge of all out, which Delhi did and made the score 21-28. Meanwhile, Ankit completed High-5 by catching Ashu.

On the next raid, Devank took two points and increased the gap to 31-22. After this, Delhi maintained the possibility of comeback by taking 3 points but with two consecutive points, Patna made the score 33-25 after 30 minutes of play. Ashu completed Super-10 in an effort to keep his team in the competition continuously.

After this, Delhi scored two points by making a super tackle on Ayaan and made the score 30-36. Then Naveen took one wicket and reduced the distance to 5. Then Ashish again hunted Devank and reduced the distance to 4.

Ashish did not stop here and with Super Raid not only made the score 35-36 but also pushed Patna towards all out. Now 1.20 minutes were left.

After this, Delhi took the lead of 38-37 by taking all out but Shubham leveled the score with an Ashuko catch. After this Devank put Patna ahead with the bonus. Then Ashish leveled the score with a bonus. Devank came on the last raid of the match and returned after validating the raid. In this way the match ended in a tie.
