Cyclone Dana: Likely to reach Dhamara and Bhitarkanika of Odisha late tonight

In the information shared on Thursday, the Meteorological Department said that the severe cyclonic storm “Dana” over the central and adjacent north-western Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 12 km per hour during the last 6 hours. The cyclone is expected to move north-westwards and cross northern Odisha and West Bengal coasts between Bhitarkanika and Dhamara (Odisha) with wind speed as an intense cyclonic storm from midnight of 24 October to morning of 25 October.
