Moradabad, May 28 (HS). Moradabad cyber thugs duped a woman and transferred ₹1,24,968 in three installments. On receiving a complaint in this matter, Nagfani police station registered a case against unknown persons on Tuesday.

Anwar Ahsan, a resident of Dehriya Falah Daran of Nagfani police station area, told in the complaint given to Nagfani police station that his wife Reshma Parveen received a call at 9 am on Tuesday. The caller told his wife Reshma Parveen that he was in trouble and deceived her and immediately transferred money from three different banks. In the complaint given to the police, it has been told that for the first time, Rs 49,982 was transferred to the Punjab National Bank branch located at Amroha Gate. After this, Rs 49,986 was transferred from the SBI account located at Chaurasi Ghanta. Finally, he transferred Rs 25,000 from the HDFC Bank account. The police have registered a case under fraud in the matter. The case has been transferred to Cyber ​​Crime for investigation.
