Shimla, 09 October (HS). 10 police personnel of Himachal Pradesh will be awarded Cyber Badge for their excellent work in combating cyber crime. In the year 2023, the State Police Headquarters will give this honor for excellent work in the field of cyber policing. The decision has been taken by the Police Headquarters on the recommendations of the committee constituted for cyber badges. State Director General of Police Dr. Atul Verma has issued orders in this regard.
One head constable and nine constables of the state will be honored with this award. These include a woman constable. The police personnel who have been selected for cyber badge include Head Constable Azad Singh of Kangra District, Constable Hemant Kumar of Police District Baddi, Constable Amarindra Singh of Sirmaur District, Chandra Prakash of Kinnaur District, Shubham Chauhan of Lahaul-Spiti District, Chamba. Pradeep Singh of Cyber Crime, Jagdish Kumar of Solan, Vishal Patial of Cyber Crime Dharamshala, Aarti Devi of Cyber Crime Mandi and Ritish Kumar of 1st Battalion Junga are included.
