New Delhi: Notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 exam has been released for the July session. With the release of notification for CTET July 2024 by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the application process has also started from tomorrow i.e. 7th March 2024. Candidates have been given time till April 2, 2024 to apply. So, candidates who want to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test have to apply by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. However, before applying, candidates are advised to read some important information related to the examination, so that there is no confusion. Also, their application form should not be rejected. – Central Teacher Eligibility Test consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper is conducted for the candidates who want to become teachers from class I to V. Whereas, Paper 2 is conducted for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes VI to VIII.
– Candidates can also appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II) conducted for Class I to V and Class VI to VIII, if they wish.
-CTET is an aptitude test. After passing this examination, candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in central government schools, KVS, NVS and other schools.
– General/OBC (NCL) category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 for Paper I or II for CTET exam. However, candidates wishing to apply for both Paper I and II will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1200. Additionally, SC/ST candidates will have to pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.
