Lucknow, July 11 (HS). As per the wishes of CM Yogi, the work of decorating and beautifying Sangam city Prayagraj is in progress to make Mahakumbh 2025 grand and divine. The Yogi government has made a provision of a budget of Rs 2600 crore for this entire event, while now CSR funds will also be used for the arrangements and facilities of the Mahakumbh fair. Government and non-government organizations that want to join the Mahakumbh through their CSR funds have been invited by the Mahakumbh Mela Authority.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Maha Kumbh 2025, the Mela Authority is engaged in all preparations to provide a better experience to a large number of devotees, bathers, tourists, religious organizations, voluntary organizations and saints from the country and abroad. In this sequence, the organizations will get an opportunity to serve crores of devotees through their CSR fund and to be associated with the world's largest fair along with the efforts of the government to make this event world class.

This Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj is to be organized from 13 January 2025 to 26 February 2025. The fair area has been divided into 25 sectors in an area of 40 thousand hectares. In each sector, essential facilities related to health, hygiene and security will be provided along with camps, offices, community areas. The Yogi government is engaged in efforts to make this event safe, accident-free and memorable. Prayagraj is being developed as a benchmark smart city. Efforts are being made to improve the experience of devotees by using technology along with tradition. Facilities dedicated to the citizens are being set up in Prayagraj and the fair area. 1.6 lakh tents are being set up in the entire fair area, while a parking area is being built in 1800 hectares. The ghats spread over 12 km are being equipped with facilities dedicated to the devotees. The Mela Authority is busy preparing for the arrival of an estimated 40 crore devotees. It is also estimated that 6 crore devotees may come to Maha Kumbh on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya between January 27 and January 30.
