CSJMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak took over as AIU President

Kanpur, July 01 (HS). Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak took charge as the President of the Association of Indian Universities on Monday. Prof. Pathak was recently elected President in the AIU meeting in Hyderabad. He took charge as the 103rd President of AIU and educationists from across the country congratulated him.

On this occasion, he said that universities will have an important role in the concept of developed India and universities will have an important responsibility in building the society and nation.

On Monday, Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak took charge as President at the New Delhi office of the Association of Indian Universities. On this occasion, all the members including the General Secretary of AIU were present. There was an atmosphere of happiness in CSJM as soon as the news of Prof. Pathak taking over as President was received. The teachers, staff and students of the university congratulated each other. He said that the Association of Indian Universities is committed to better academic environment in universities across the country as well as development in the field of education. Through AIU, high level competitions of cultural, academic, sports, research, academic activities are organized among universities. Also, this association provides opportunities for universities to work together.

The alumni of the university also expressed happiness on Prof. Pathak taking over as the President of the Association of Indian Universities. After taking over as the President of AIU, Prof. Pathak thanked everyone and said that the contribution of universities is most important in the vision of developed India. We have to develop such a culture that the Indian education system can leave its indelible mark all over the world. We have to work to build our culture, glorious history and a better future with technology. Universities have an important responsibility of building society and the nation, we have to work keeping this in mind.
