CSEP Honorary President Rakesh Mohan met Finance Minister Sitharaman | News India


New Delhi, September 10 (HS). Honorary President and Distinguished Fellow of the Center for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) Rakesh Mohan met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman here on Tuesday. However, detailed details of this meeting are not yet available.

In a statement released on 'X' post, the Finance Minister's Office said that Rakesh Mohan, Honorary President and Distinguished Fellow of the Center for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at the Finance Minister's Office in North Block, New Delhi. The Center for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) is an independent Indian public policy think tank.

It is noteworthy that Rakesh Mohan is the Honorary President and Distinguished Fellow of CSEP. Earlier, he has been its President and Distinguished Fellow from October 2020 to May 2023. Rakesh Mohan was appointed to serve on the Economic Advisory Panel of the World Bank Group in March 2024. Along with this, he is part of the Economic Advisory Council of the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) since October 2021.
