A very horrifying and shameful incident that has shocked humanity has come to light from Secunderabad area under Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. In the Industrial Police Post area of Secunderabad Kotwali, an eight-year-old innocent girl was crossed all limits of cruelty by her own father’s fellow labourer. This innocent girl, studying in class two, was first abducted in a planned manner, then taken to the nearby forest and a disgusting act was done to her. Due to the fear of his identity being revealed and being caught by the law, the brute brutally murdered the innocent child by beating him with stones and sticks. After this heart-wrenching massacre, there is an atmosphere of immense tension, anger and mourning in the entire area.
The innocent girl student had suddenly gone missing under suspicious circumstances around 6 pm on Friday evening. The family members were continuously searching for him, but at around 11 o’clock in the night, a sensation spread when his mutilated and bloody body was found in a desolate and deserted plot located near Naveen Mandi. When the passersby who reached the spot saw the blood-soaked body of the girl, they immediately informed the local police. As soon as the information was received, heavy police force reached the spot, took possession of the body and started the legal process. In view of the urgency of the situation, the police have increased patrolling in the area and on the complaint of family members, have registered a case against the accused under serious sections of POCSO and murder.
On investigating the background of the incident, it came to light that the victim’s family was originally from a rural area in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The head of the family has been working as a laborer in a private manufacturing company located in the industrial area of Secunderabad for the last nine years. He was living with his wife and two children by taking a room on rent in a two-storey house located in a local colony in the industrial outpost area. In another room of the same house, the accused laborer also lived as a tenant with his wife and both worked together in the same industrial unit.
Due to working in the same house and at the same workplace, the accused was a frequent visitor to the house of the victim’s family and the girl also knew him well. The accused has been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Raju Kashyap, resident of village Tarayan located in Chhibramau police station area of Kannauj district. According to the police, Ravi is married, but has no children of his own. No one had the slightest idea that the neighboring laborer whom the family blindly trusted would become the enemy of the innocent life.
According to the information received from family members and local people, when the girl was playing outside the house at around 6 pm on Friday evening, the accused Ravi Kumar seduced her and silently abducted her and took her towards the deserted forest of the area. By taking her there, he forcibly raped the innocent girl. The girl kept screaming in pain, but the heart of the beast did not fail. When the girl approached her parents to complain and tell them about his actions, the accused went mad with the fear of being caught.
To hide his heinous act, the accused crossed all limits of cruelty. He started hitting the innocent boy’s head and face with heavy stones and sticks lying nearby. He continued to attack the girl until her breathing stopped forever. After killing the innocent child, the accused dragged his body and threw it in an empty plot surrounded by bushes near Naveen Mandi so that the body would not be visible to anyone and he could easily escape. After committing the crime, the accused laborer silently escaped from the spot.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Superintendent of Police City (SP City) Abhishek Pratap Ajeya and Area Officer Secunderabad reached the spot with heavy police force. The police immediately called the forensic team and dog squad and collected evidence from the spot. The body was immediately sent to the mortuary of the district hospital, where the post-mortem was conducted under videography late at night by a special panel of doctors. Late in the night after the post-mortem, when the body of the innocent child was handed over to his family members resident of Badaun, the mother and father fell unconscious and there was an outcry in the entire colony. Angry local residents have strongly demanded from the police administration to hang the accused as soon as possible and give him the harshest punishment.
While officially confirming the case, SP City Abhishek Pratap Ajey said that on the clear complaint of the victim’s father, a case has been registered against the named accused Ravi Kumar, son of Raju Kashyap, resident of village Taryan, Chhibramau district, Kannauj, under relevant serious sections of the Indian Justice Code and POCSO Act. SP City said that a total of four special teams of Surveillance, SOG and Kotwali police have been formed to ensure the speedy arrest of the accused. Police teams are continuously raiding possible hideouts and his ancestral residence in Kannauj. He assured that the police will strengthen the case on the basis of scientific evidence and argue it in the fast track court so that the culprit can be given exemplary punishment for his heinous crime.
