Crowds of devotees gathered for Ganga Dussehra

Bhagalpur, June 16 (HS). Crowds of devotees gathered at various Ganga Ghats of the district from early morning on Sunday on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra. On the other hand, thousands of devotees from Bihar and Jharkhand took a dip in the Uttarvahini Ganga Ghat located at Ajai Vi Nath Dham in Sultanganj.

Today is Maa Ganga Janmotsav. Especially women take a bath in Ganga on this day and offer mangoes, flowers and prasad to Maa Ganga and flow it in the Ganga. By doing this, one gets happiness and peace and all the troubles are resolved.

To deal with the crowd of devotees on the Ganga Ghats, the Nagar Parishad has arranged small boats and barricaded the Ganga Ghats. The SDRF team has been deployed at the Ganga Ghats by the Zonal Officer Ravi Kumar. Tight security arrangements have been made from the Ganga Ghats to the Kachchi Kanwaria Path by the Police Station Head Priya Ranjan.
