Dumka, 22 July (HS). The holy month of Sawan has begun. On this occasion, there was a rush of Shiva devotees to offer holy Ganga water to Faujdari Nath in Basukinath Dham. To control this, the administrative and police officers continued their exercise since late night. The echo of the Kanwariyas arriving with Ganga water from Sultanganj and the Dak Bam coming from Barari of Bhagalpur started being heard from midnight itself. Water was being offered to them through Argha in the temple via Sanskar Mandap via the Kanwariya route line Tata Dharamshala. The temple premises echoed with the slogan of Bol Bam of saffron-clad Kanwariyas throughout the day. For the convenience of the devotees, the temple administration had arranged for quick darshan coupons. Water was also being offered from the Jalarpan counter near the Singh Dwar and Shivganga Ghat of the temple. At the same time, devotees were seen taking full advantage of the facility provided by the administration. According to the beliefs of the scriptures, the Monday of Sawan has special importance for the followers of Hindu religion, which fulfills all the wishes of a person. By observing Monday fast, happiness and peace come in a person's life and one gets freedom from troubles.

Tokens were given to 94 postal bombs at Administrative Camp Hansdiha

On the first Monday of Sawan, 94 Dak Bams going to Basukinath via Hansdiha were given tokens at the administrative camp Hansdiha. With the help of tokens, Dak Bams enter Basukinath temple directly without stopping, so that Dak Bams do not have to face the crowd. The entry of Dak Bams started in Hansdiha from 11 pm and continued moving towards Basukinath till Monday morning. From Hansdiha to Basukinath, the spirit of service of devotees and villagers serving everywhere was an amazing sight on this path. On Monday, the flood of Dak Bams and devotees was moving forward with the chant of Bol Bam-Bol Bam to offer water at Basukinath Dham. At the same time, Babadham is far away, we must go. The entire fair route was immersed in Shiva devotion throughout the night with the chants of Mata Bam Bol Bam, Chhotu Bam Bol Bam etc. In the drizzle and pleasant weather, the Dak Bams were moving forward, forgetting the pain of blisters on their feet.
