Ramgarh, 29 October (Hindustan Reporter). There has been a rain of money in the district on Dhanteras. Business worth crores of rupees was done in the market in a single day. Despite the rise in gold prices, there was a huge crowd in jewelery shops. Since morning there was a crowd of people buying gold and silver jewelery and coins. There was a rush of customers at Kanak Jewelers located in Shyam Complex, Chatti Bazaar of the city. There were a lot of people buying gold and silver coins here. Here customers were offered discount in making charges. Also, under the Diwali Dhamaka offer, a discount of ₹ 2000 per gram was given on gold jewellery. Also, attractive gifts were being given on purchase of ₹20000. People liked this offer very much and people were seen shopping there. Apart from this, crowd of people was also seen in other branded jewelery shops including Tribhuvan & Son Jewellers, Premsons Jewellers. Jewelery traders in the entire district have done business worth about Rs 5 crore.
There was a lot of shopping in utensil shops also
On the occasion of Dhanteras, there was a lot of shopping in utensils shops also. Apart from Chatti Bazar, Lohar Tola, Main Road, Bazartand, there was a boom in utensils shops in other markets of the district also. Here people bought brass, bronze and steel utensils. It is expected that on the occasion of Dhanteras, utensils worth about Rs 50 lakh will be sold in the entire district.
The market was also filled with decorative items on the occasion of Dhanteras. Every market in the district was attracting the customers coming out on the occasion of Diwali with decorative items. At some places chandeliers, garlands and attractive decorative items were being sold, while at some places colorful lights were attracting people. Apart from this, there was a crowd of customers in electronic goods shops also. There has also been a lot of sales of TV, fridge, washing machine, and other electronic goods. On the occasion of Dhanteras in the entire district, there is a possibility of business worth Rs 10 crore in the market of Ramgarh district.
There was a queue of customers even in the car showroom
There has been a lot of sales of vehicles on the occasion of Diwali. Apart from Hero Bike, Honda Bike, Bajaj, TVS, Bullet, KTM, Yamaha showrooms, there were queues of customers in the showrooms of Tata Motors, Hyundai, Maruti, Mahindra, Nexa cars. Customers had already booked their vehicles and requested for delivery on the occasion of Dhanteras.
