Australia's all-rounder Ellyse Perry has created history as soon as she took the field for the match against Sri Lanka in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Perry became the first player to play in all T20 World Cups for Australia. Perry made his T20 debut for Australia in 2008.
She has played in all the T20 World Cups since then and is the senior-most player in the Kangaroo team. Perry played his 43rd match for Australia in the T20 World Cup. He has scored 371 runs in 25 innings of the World Cup. He also has 40 wickets to his name and is four wickets away from the record of most wickets in the T20 World Cup. He can break this record in the current World Cup. Perry has played his 158th T20 match overall for Australia and has 1956 runs and 126 wickets to his name. Apart from Perry, India's Harmanpreet Kaur, Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine, Stephanie Taylor, Marijana Cape and Chamari Atapattu have all played in the T20 World Cup so far.
