News India Live, Digital Desk: If you use Yes Bank credit card, then there is good news for you. By changing the rules of use of the bank ‘Threshold Limit’ (the limit after which charges are levied) has been increased. This means you’ll now be able to spend more with your card than before without any extra fees. These new rules will be applicable to utility bills, wallet load and transport transactions.

Utility bill payments: Now no charges up to ₹25,000

Yes Bank has increased the limit on charges on utility payments (electricity, water, gas etc.).

Retail Cards: now in month ₹25,000 There will be no charge on utility payments up to ₹15,000 (earlier this limit was ₹15,000). There will be a charge of 1% on any expenditure beyond this.

MARQUEE/RESERVE CARD: Limit increased from ₹25,000 ₹50,000 Has been done.

YES Private Card: Limit increased from ₹50,000 directly ₹1,00,000 Has been done.

Digital Wallet Loading: Free up to ₹2,000

The rules for loading money into wallets like Amazon Pay, Paytm or Mobikwik have also changed:

Domestic lounge access on most Yes Bank cards is now spend-based.

Condition: To avail free lounge access you must have spent at least ₹35,000 Will have to spend.

Note: Free lounge facility available on RuPay Platinum Debit Cards 1 April 2026 The account can be locked from the internet, so accessing via credit card would be a safer option.

What will be the impact on reward points?

Yes Bank has clarified that reward points on government services and tax payments will no longer be available on most cards. However, reward points on ‘lifestyle’ expenses like dining and travel will continue as before.
