Crackdown on land mafia, attempt to grab land failed, three arrested so far

Dehradun, 22 February (HS). The SIT team on Thursday arrested the accused who was involved in fake registration of land by preparing forged documents. A case has been registered against the accused and his associates in Patel Nagar police station and SIT is engaged in investigation.

In this case, the police team had earlier arrested two accused, Sameer Kamyab and Ravi Kohli. The police team on Thursday arrested the accused Sukhwinder Singh, son of Darshan Singh, resident of Nanakmatta Udham Singh Nagar, who had done fake registration of the land in his name and gift deed of the land in the name of his co-accused.

Fake deed of 10 bigha land, fraud

Actually, Sheetal Mand daughter late. Sadhu Singh resident of Ramniwas Majra Dehradun has filed a complaint related to land fraud in Patel Nagar police station. It is alleged that KP Singh, along with his other associates, had committed fraud by making a fake power of attorney for his 10 bigha land in Majra and registered it in the name of Sukhwinder Singh, son of Darshan Singh, resident of Nanakmatta. Not only this, Sukhwinder Singh has given the gift deed of the said land to the company of KP Singh's father Balveer Singh on the basis of fake documents. The SIT team is investigating after registering a case on the basis of the complaint.

Accused Sukhwinder, arrested during interrogation, told that he had met KP Singh and his father Balveer Singh during a marriage ceremony in the year 2010 through KP Singh's uncle Sethpal Chaudhary, who used to take contracts for earth filling in Sidcul Udham Singh Nagar. . In the year 2014, KP Singh contacted and told that he had prepared a fake power of attorney in the name of Harbhajan Singh alias Bhajan Singh for a land located at Majra in Dehradun, which he would get registered in his (accused Sukhwinder's) name and would prevent it from being sold. Will give some share of the profit. After that KP Singh deposited Rs 1.5 lakh in Sukhwinder's account.

First got the registration done, then took it back through gift deed.

In the year 2016, KP Singh along with another of his associates introduced him to Kamal Virmani and another person. By whom the said land was first registered in the name of Sukhwinder by going to the registrar office. In the year 2020, Sukhwinder transferred the said land by gift deed in the name of KP Singh's father Balveer Singh's company BKN.
