Jaipur, September 19 (HS). Prahlad Naga, the newly appointed director of the Animal Husbandry Department of Rajasthan, immediately after taking charge, visited the Organic Forest Medicinal Plant Center located at Tonk Road Sanganer to observe the various products being made from cows and the work being done in the field of organic agriculture. On this occasion, Dr. Anita Agarwal, Secretary of Gau Seva Aayog Rajasthan was also present. Dr. Atul Gupta, Chairman of Organic Farmer Producer Association and India and International Convenor of All India Gaushala Sahayog Parishad, welcomed and honored the Animal Husbandry Director.

The Director and Secretary saw pots, rakhis, lamps, cow dung cakes, incense sticks, havan kund and many other home decor items made from cow dung. After seeing these products, they assured that these products will be further promoted and promoted through the government channel.

On this occasion, he also learned how the Sunrise Group of Companies, through its tireless efforts, exported 192 tonnes of cow dung for the first time in the world to an Arab country like Kuwait in the year 2022.

He also gained detailed information about more than three hundred rare medicinal plants located in the Organic Forest Medicinal Plant Center and also learned how farmers can become economically self-reliant through organic farming.

After seeing and testing the pickles, papad, lac and cow dung bangles etc. being made by the self-help group, he also praised the projects being undertaken for the livelihood of women.
