Lucknow, August 18 (HS). National President of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati has given her reaction on the action taken by the government regarding the Rajasthan incident. She said that the court should take cognizance of this incident.

Mayawati posted on social media site X on Sunday and said that the state government failed to stop the violence that broke out in Udaipur, Rajasthan due to a fight between two school children. After this, the state government demolished a family's house with a bulldozer, claiming that it belonged to the alleged accused child. This does not seem to be the rule of law, which the court must take cognizance of.

Mayawati said that even in the BJP ruled states of the country, political malicious actions have been taken to cover up the bad law and order situation and divert people's attention from it, which is unfair. It would be better if the government follows the law impartially and acts as its guardian.
