Ranchi, March 11 (Hindustan Reporter) CJM KK Mishra has issued summons on Monday on the complaint filed in the court by ED against former Chief Minister Hemant Soren for non-compliance of summons order. Under the issued summons, Hemant Soren has been instructed to present his side.
Earlier, the court had taken cognizance of the matter on March 4. The court has fixed April 3 as the date of appearance. Let us tell you that a complaint has been filed by ED on 19th February. This complaint was filed under Section 174 of IPC and PMLA Act 63. But the court has taken cognizance only under section 174 of the Indian Penal Code. Seven summons were sent by ED to Hemant Soren under Section 50 of PMLA. But he did not appear on all these summons. A case has been filed by ED against Hemant Soren regarding this. Hemant Soren is currently in jail since February 1 in the land scam case.
