Meerut, March 01 (HS). In the case of stopping the train in Meerut in 2012, the court has imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on BJP MP Rajendra Aggarwal. The MPs will appeal in the higher court against this order.

In September 2012, some coaches were disconnected from a train. In protest against this, daily commuters had complained to MP Rajendra Aggarwal. On which the MPs had reached Meerut City Railway Station along with the daily passengers and protested against the cutting of coaches. Due to this the train was late. A case was registered against the MP in this case, which was going on in the court of Special Judge MP-MLA Court Nadeem Anwar. In this case, the court has found the MP guilty and imposed a fine of Rs 2,000.

According to MP representative Harsh Goyal, he has been falsely implicated politically in this case. The MP was only interacting with daily commuters on the platform. This fine will be appealed in the higher court.
