Dhamtari, 6 November (Hindustan Reporter). To take stock of the progress of Dhamtari waste management, newly appointed Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Priya Goyal inspected the Organic Fertilizer Center and Manikanchan Center located in Mahima Sagar Ward on Wednesday morning. After inspection, he gave necessary guidelines to the working women. According to the information, the Municipal Corporation has a plan to build a garden in the organic fertilizer centre, so that the environment here can be full of greenery.
The organic fertilizer center of Mahima Sagar Ward was formerly a tanning ground where there was a huge mountain of waste, which has been 100 percent decomposed. This has brought a big change in the cleanliness there and now new plans are being made for the use of that place. A proposal to build a garden in the grounds has been sent to the government. Under this, there is a plan to convert that area into a beautiful and green place, which will not only be friendly to the environment but will also benefit the local residents in the form of a beautiful park. The Commissioner appreciated the idea and directed the officials to take necessary steps to take the project forward expeditiously. It is known that under the Garden Project, attention will also be given to boundary construction, pathways, borewells, plantation, and other arrangements.

Apart from this, the quality of the environment will be improved through tree plantation. The Commissioner said that the employees should perform their responsibilities with more enthusiasm. The Municipal Corporation will provide all possible support for this.
