Dehradun: The risk of corona infection is increasing once again in Uttarakhand. The health department has been alerted after two new cases of Kovid-19 recently came up in Dehradun and Nainital districts of the state. This precaution is considered particularly important in the context of Chardham Yatra, because every year lakhs of devotees from all over the country participate in this yatra. At such a time, the chances of spreading infection are more likely.

Health Department on alert mode to prevent infection from spreading

Dr. Sunita Tamta, Director General of Health of Uttarakhand, said, “Currently there are about 277 cases of Korona infection across the country, most of which are from the states of Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Kerala. Uttarakhand currently has no active patient, but it is necessary to take precaution because two people from outside have confirmed the corona.” In this background, the Kovid protocol is likely to be re -implemented in all hospitals in the state. District level health centers have been instructed to review medical preparations.

Special precautions for Chardham Yatra
