Basit Ali's advice to PCB: Pakistan suffered a disappointing defeat in the first match of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home. Since then, the Pakistan cricket team is being heavily criticized. Pakistan's team lost to Bangladesh for the first time in Test cricket. Pakistan fans and cricket experts are upset about this. Meanwhile, Pakistan's legendary cricketer has advised the Pakistan Cricket Board to copy Indian cricket. Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has asked the PCB to seek ideas from India on organizing more red ball tournaments to create a larger pool of players.

The Pakistan Cricket Board is going to organize a one-day tournament after the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh. Expressing displeasure over this, Basit Ali said that more attention should be paid to red ball cricket because Pakistan does not have a strong pool of cricketers in this format. Basit further said that Pakistan has previously copied the system of England, Australia and New Zealand, but now it should look towards India and try to copy their domestic system.

Basit Ali said on his YouTube channel that after the Test series there will be a one-day tournament called Champions Cup. Pakistan has copied the system of England, Australia and New Zealand. India is our neighbor please copy their system too. You need to copy what India is doing. Be it a T20 tournament or a four-day tournament. They are focusing on strengthening their base and that is why they are so successful.

Ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh, Pakistan have recalled Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam, who were released from their Test squad, for the second Test to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30 to September 3. Both players were playing for Pakistan Shaheens against Bangladesh 'A' at the Islamabad Club from August 20 to 23. Abrar is a leg-spinner, while Kamran Ghulam is a middle-order batsman. Both will be expected to contribute to Pakistan winning the second Test and levelling the series.
