Bikaner, 30 April (His). To review the progress of redevelopment works under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, a coordination meeting of railway officials with the contractors executing the work was organized in the meeting room located at the divisional office of North Western Railway Bikaner Division.
In the meeting, Divisional Railway Manager Dr. Ashish Kumar, Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti Unit) Pawan Gurava, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination) Amit Jain, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mahesh Chand Jevaliya and other officers of the division and those working on Amrit Bharat Station Scheme were present. Contractors participated.
The Divisional Railway Manager stressed on safety at the workplace and directed everyone to ensure all safety precautions as per the contract conditions and guidelines issued by Railways from time to time. He emphasized on improving the quality of works like use of good quality tiles and branded sanitarywares etc. and said that local public representatives like members of ZRUCC/DRUCC can be invited and feedback can be obtained on quality control. The works may also be inspected by the General Manager so the quality of work should be of top priority. As per the instructions of the Railway Board, he directed to put up a board at the work site in which details of the work, its cost, name of the contractor, date of completion of the work etc. as well as the proposed view of the station after completion of the work are also clearly visible. It should be marked with so that the public gets a chance to appreciate the redevelopment work.
Divisional Railway Manager directed the contractors to regularly communicate with the concerned Sr. DEN/DEN so that if any change is there, it can be approved at the earliest. He directed all senior DENs/DENs to visit the work site and inspect the progress of the work. The contractors also assured full cooperation to the railway administration and completion of the works soon.
