Prayagraj, 16 April (HS). Now coordination is being established with NCR for maximum transportation of coal by goods trains on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) line. For this, on Tuesday, NCR General Manager Ravindra Goyal and DFC Director OP & BD Shobhit Bhatnagar, after seeing the arrangements from Prayagraj to DDU unit, gave necessary tips to the subordinates.
During this, the facilities of the running room of the loco pilots were examined and instructions were given to remove the shortcomings. Apart from this, it was said to keep special vigil on the railway tracks during summer. Also, the personnel were asked to continuously observe so that the railway tracks can be protected from cracking and accidents can be curbed.
Giving information, Senior Public Relations Officer Amit Malviya said that first of all the team of officers reached Karchhana in Mirzapur. Here saw the alternative running room made for loco pilots and talked about making a permanent running room in future. Observed Meja Urja Thermal Power in Unchdih and tested the potential of the power. After this the officer duo reached Chunar DFC line. Here took stock of the arrangements for connection of Dagmagpur with Vishwanath Puri station. After the railways, the General Manager and Director looked at the situation of the waterways. Reached DFC via flyover. Observed inland waterways transportation from here. There will be import and export of goods through waterways to Haldia. Then DDU reached PDDU yard while taking stock of the third line. Here a meeting was held with the officials and various activities were discussed. During this, PCOM Sharad Chandrayan, CGM Prayagraj AB Sharan, CGM DDU Atul Kumar, AGM Shravan Kumar, AGM Manu Prakash Dubey, Deputy CPM JK Singh, Yashpal etc. were present.
Director PP will see the progress of RFO construction
PRO informed that DFC Director Project Planning Pankaj Saxena will come on April 19 to inspect the progress of construction of foot overbridge being built in DDU Diesel Shed. For this, Director PP will reach Kanpur by 22416 Vande Bharat from New Delhi on 18th April. Next day he will come to New DDU from New Kanpur. After this the animals will reach the diesel shed by trolley. He told that after getting information about the arrival of Director PP, the officials started increasing the pace of construction work.
