Conversion is more dangerous than Naxalism, efforts are being made to unite Hindu society: Pandit Dhirendra Shastri

Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham termed religious conversion as a bigger threat than Naxalism and said that Naxalism has been targeting a particular individual, whereas religious conversion is targeting the entire society, which is very important to be stopped. Dhirendra Shastri said that he will travel across the country to stop religious conversion, and also said that he will soon recite stories in Bastar and Jashpur of Chhattisgarh. Referring to his old relationship with Kanker, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri said that he has come to the court of Pahadwali Maa Bhuneshwari to participate in the Mahayagya. He told that he had been here before and he had a long association with this place. It is noteworthy that Dhirendra Shastri had spent a long time in Kanker many years ago.

Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, while discussing with the media on Monday during his stay in Kanker, said that there are many areas of Chhattisgarh which are not easily accessible even today. It is in such areas that innocent tribals have been lured into religious conversion. He said that except Hindus, there is unity in the rest of the society, but there is a lack of unity among the Hindus and they are trying to unite their Hindu society. Dhirendra Shastri, while continuously attacking the issue of religious conversion, has talked about emphasizing on Gurukul education system instead of sending children to missionary schools. It is noteworthy that during the program, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri on Sunday brought back 11 families who had converted to Christianity and joined the Christian community.
