Controversy over Kareena Kapoor's pregnancy book, High Court notice on religious issue

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is embroiled in a big controversy. The matter has reached the High Court regarding the book written by Kareena on the issue of pregnancy.

According to reports, Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan on a citizen's petition. After this news, Kareena Kapoor started trending on social media.

Kareena Kapoor has written a book on pregnancy in which the word Bible has been used in the title. For doing so, a demand has been made to register a criminal case against him.

The actress' book Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual for Moms-to-be was launched in August 2021. The actress is in legal trouble regarding this book.

Lawyer Christopher Anthony has said in his petition that the title of Kareena Kapoor's book has hurt the religious sentiments of Christians. The petition said that the word Bible has been used in the title of this book to gain cheap popularity and it is completely objectionable.

Christopher Anthony has approached the High Court challenging the order of the Additional Sessions Court. Let us tell you that the Additional Sessions Court had rejected the application to register a case against Kareena Kapoor. Now the next hearing of this case will be on July 1, 2024.

According to the information, first a person from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh had filed a complaint against Kareena Kapoor in the local police station. After this, lawyer Christopher Anthony said in his complaint that the title of the book has hurt the sentiments of the Christian community, because a holy book like the Bible cannot be compared with the pregnancy of the actress.

The police refused to register the case. After this, Anthony applied in the Magistrate Court for relief. His petition was also rejected by the court, as he failed to prove how the use of Biblical words had hurt the sentiments of Christians.
