Jaipur, 13 April (HS). Control rooms have been established at the state and district level for smooth arrangement of drinking water during the summer season in the state and for quick resolution of drinking water related problems. These control rooms will work 24X7 at the state level and from 6 am to 10 pm every day at the district level.
Dr. Samit Sharma, Government Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, said that officers in-charge have been appointed at the state and district level to solve any problem related to drinking water of the common people during the summer season in the state. Along with ensuring redressal of complaints related to drinking water problems, these officers will also do the work of monitoring summer emergency works. He said that at the state level, complaints can be lodged on the control room number 0141-2222585. Similarly, separate numbers have been issued for all fifty districts.

The Government Secretary said that the complainant will have to send his name, mobile number and location on the WhatsApp number issued for redressal of complaints related to drinking water at the district level so that the concerned officials can reach there and resolve the complaint immediately. Apart from this, for better monitoring and quick resolution of drinking water problems, WhatsApp groups have also been formed in all 50 districts of the state, in which prominent citizens including public representatives of that district have been included.
