Construction of Lord Shri Ram's temple increased employment and income possibilities: Prof. Prem S. Vashishtha

Ayodhya, March 11 (Hindustan Reporter) A one-day national seminar on “Economic Implications of Prabhu Shri Ram Temple” was organized in the seminar hall of the Department of Economics and Rural Development of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. Addressing the program, the chief guest was prominent economist and policy maker, Prof. of New Delhi. Prem S. Vashishtha said that due to the construction of Lord Shri Ram's temple in Ayodhya, the possibilities of casual employment and income in all the three sectors of the economy, primary, secondary and tertiary, under the qualitative principle, have increased three to four times. People involved in micro, cottage and small based businesses will continue to get local employment.

Pro. Vashishtha said that if the subtlety and smallness of employment and income is converted into industrial sector, then this development of unorganized sector will become a basis for organized development of income and employment. In the programme, he told that during his visit to Ayodhya, he was attracted a lot by a line written on the hoarding in which it was written, “Inheritance and development too”. Our heritage is the means of our development. Today, Ayodhya is developing so fast through culture because people are getting attracted by the development here and are investing here, which is promoting many types of employment and will develop many new sources for our economy and country. .

Presiding over the program, Prof. Mridula Mishra said that due to the construction of Ram temple, structural facilities have been developed in the entire state along with the Awadh region. In the program, Professor and General Secretary of the Department, Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand Economic Association, Prof. Vinod Kumar Srivastava said that it would be very relevant to connect the economics of Lord Shri Ram with inclusive development through the construction of the temple. Ever since the consecration of Lord Shri Ram, the possibilities of tourism development and employment opportunities are clearly visible in the Ayodhya area. He said that along with temple construction and consecration, there has been an increase in GST in the gross domestic product of Uttar Pradesh. There has been an increase of about two to three percent in employment opportunities among the people of Awadh region, which has made the lives of the people happy.
