Who can apply for these posts
To apply, candidates must have passed 10th or 12th from a recognized board. It varies according to the post, information of which can be seen in the notice. The age limit is 18 to 28 years. Reserved categories will get age relaxation as per government rules. It is also necessary for the candidate to be a native of Jammu and Kashmir.
How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected after clearing various stages of the exam such as written exam, PET test, PST test, DV round and medical exam. Only those who clear one stage will move to the next stage and the selection will be final only after clearing all the stages.
What is the fees and salary
To apply for Jammu and Kashmir Constable posts, general category candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 700. For SC, ST, EWS category candidates, the fee is Rs 600. Payment can be made online only.
