Mahant of Sanwalia Kunj Thakurbari Pandit Kaushal Kishore Dubey termed it a conspiracy behind the failed attempt to create disruption during the historic Mahavir Jhanda Shobha Yatra procession that has been taking place for the last 120 years. On Tuesday, the Mahant held a press conference in the temple premises and expressed his gratitude to the administration, all the Akharas and the people involved in the procession, along with the people of the city for the successful organization of the Mahaveeri Jhanda Shobha Yatra procession. Mahant of Sanwalia Kunj Thakurbari condemned the attempt to spoil the social harmony by creating disruption for the first time in the procession that has been organized for years.
Dubey said that some self-proclaimed contractors of the society were conspiring from the very beginning of the event to make the procession unsuccessful. For this, the administration was also being misled by spreading rumours about Shri Sanwalia Kunj Thakurbari. In this episode, an attempt was made by these conspirators to divert the route of the Shobha Yatra, Darbhanga Tola, which was fixed for years before the administration, but when they were not successful in changing the traditional route, these conspirators hatched a conspiracy and themselves hired a DJ and played objectionable songs and their own people attacked the DJ vehicle, in a despicable attempt to spoil social harmony and spread riots, so that the traditional route could be changed in future, but due to the wisdom of both the parties and the promptness of the administration, a major incident could be prevented.
He has demanded from the administration that the person who proposed to change the route of the procession and hired the DJ playing objectionable songs should be identified and investigated, then the truth will come out. Dubey said that a rumour is being spread that for the first time during the procession, the tradition was broken by not hugging the Maulana of the mosque located at Darbhanga Tola, which is completely wrong and baseless, while the truth is that in the year 2023 itself, these conspirators had stopped the said Maulana from being present during the procession. Due to which the tradition of hugging that was going on since earlier came to an end. At the same time, a rumour was also spread that the leadership of the procession is given by taking money. Which is completely baseless.
