Jaipur, September 9 (HS). BJP spokesperson Laxmikant Bhardwaj countered the statement of the previous Congress government's ministers Raghu Sharma and Sukhram Bishnoi and said that the people of the state showed the mirror to the Ashok Gehlot government, which made every assembly constituency a district, in the assembly elections. The Congress party lost in those districts, which were announced just six months before the elections to win the elections. In such a situation, the statement of Raghu Sharma and Sukhram Bishnoi is beyond comprehension.
BJP spokesperson Laxmikant Bhardwaj said that former CM Ashok Gehlot created 19 new districts in Rajasthan six months before the elections for electoral gains. The previous Congress government made a false announcement of creating new districts in a hurry without preparing any road map or blueprint for development. Former CM Gehlot did try this experiment to win the election but the people of the state rejected this experiment outright by defeating Congress in the elections. When Rajasthan was formed, there were 26 districts, after that the work of creating new districts was done by the BJP governments but the work of developing the districts was also done by the BJP governments because their intention was also for public welfare.
BJP spokesperson Laxmikant Bhardwaj said that former minister Raghu Sharma, citing the example of Gujarat, said that the number of districts there is also high, so I want to ask him whether new districts were created in Gujarat in the election year? Were so many districts announced in Gujarat without a roadmap? Rather, new districts were announced in Gujarat in a number of one or two as per the demand of the time along with preparing a roadmap for development. The announcement of 19 districts in Rajasthan was only an election gimmick of Ashok Gehlot which the people of the state had already understood.
BJP spokesperson Laxmikant Bhardwaj said that former CM Ashok Gehlot was the Chief Minister for 15 years. If he was concerned about the development of the state, he would have announced new districts one by one as soon as he came to power and would have accelerated their development. But instead of creating districts for 14.6 years, former CM Gehlot hastily announced 19 districts in an election year, 6 months before the elections. Many of these are such that are confined to one assembly constituency and at that time the public had organized big movements against the process of creating these districts.
Congress, out of fear of losing the elections, made an unsuccessful attempt to win the elections by creating so many districts at once, the public also taught them a lesson. But the Bhajanlal Sharma government of the state is committed to the development of the state and will take appropriate decisions based on the committee's report for the development of the citizens of these districts and the districts of the state. Now it has become clear from the statements being given by the Congress leaders regarding the districts that they have nothing to do with the development of the public, but only want to insult public sentiments by making false statements. The Congress leaders should do politics of development while respecting the sentiments of the people of the state.
