Congressmen celebrated Diwali with slum children

Haridwar, 01 November (HS). Congress workers celebrated the festival of Diwali by distributing gifts to needy children in the slum located in Bairagi Camp area. Senior Congress leader Virendra Shramik said that Diwali is everyone's festival and it should be celebrated together with brotherhood. He said that crackers, copies, pencils, utensils and sweets were distributed as gifts to the needy children. People were helped in a similar manner during the Corona period also.

Youth Congress District President Cash Khurana and youth leader Nitin Teshwar said that by celebrating any festival with the needy, they can also provide happiness. God is pleased only when you help someone else. Congress takes everyone along and never lags behind in helping every section of the society. An atmosphere of anarchy is being created in the country. In the name of religion, mutual brotherhood is being ended, which is very important to be removed. On this occasion, youth leaders Sonu Lala, Manav Kumar, Saurath Devi, Harish, Reena, Jaipal Dinesh etc. were present.
