Congress workers burnt an effigy in protest against the construction of Kedarnath temple in Delhi

Uttarkashi, July 17 (HS). Workers of District Congress Committee Uttarkashi have opposed the construction of a symbolic temple of Shri Kedarnath Dham in Hiranki, Burari, Delhi. They have burnt the effigy of the BJP government in Hanuman Chowk.

Congress workers said that this will be strongly opposed. There is no opposition to establishing a temple in the name of Lord Shiva but the opposition to establishing a temple in the name of Kedarnath will continue.

During this time, District President Manish Rana, Vijendra Nautiyal, Kamal Singh Rawat, Meena Nautiyal, Vijay Semwal, Kavita Jogela, Diwakar Bhatt, Rakhi Rana, Nain Singh Bisht, Papender Negi, Satish Gosain, Surendra Pal, Suraj Rawat, Santosh Bhandari, Ashish Negi, Harish Rawat etc were present.
