Delhi Jodo Trip: Hoping to repeat the electoral success of Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', Congress is going to hold a padyatra in the capital ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections this month. After Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana, now Rahul Gandhi has started preparations for Delhi Assembly elections also. From October 23, he will take out 'Delhi Jodo Yatra' in Delhi. Apart from Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Mallikarju Kharge will also participate in this yatra. Keeping the festivals in mind, the journey has been planned in four phases. According to information received from sources, during the 'Delhi Jodo Yatra', the party will make the failure of BJP's three-time victorious MPs in Delhi an issue.

Congress party will also attack the dispute between Modi government, LG and Aam Aadmi Party while remembering the time of Sheila Dikshit government. Apart from this, Kejriwal will also vocally accuse the government and Aam Aadmi Party of liquor policy, corruption and anti-development. Meanwhile, AAP government will be called Jhunjhunu government. An empty chair symbolizing the seat of the Delhi Chief Minister reserved for the common man and the slogan 'Dilli walon Aao Dilli Chalo' will be at the center of the padyatra. According to sources, the party has decided that it will not form an alliance with AAP in Delhi on the lines of Punjab and Haryana.

Apart from this, the Congress party will organize about a dozen demonstrations on various such issues to attack the AAP government. Along with this, case study will also be presented before the public. However, the party has made it clear that Kejriwal will be a part of the India alliance at the Centre.

The journey will take place in four phases

First phase- 23 to 28 October

Second phase- 4th November to 10th November

Third phase- 12 November to 18 November

Fourth phase- 20th November to 28th November

Delhi assembly elections

Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi next year. The tenure of the Assembly is going to end in February 2025. However, the Election Commission has the power to call early elections if necessary. When Kejriwal resigned from the post of Delhi CM, he demanded elections in Delhi in November. The former CM of Delhi had said that elections should be held here along with Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections.
