Jalaun, 03 August (HS). Congress party workers on Saturday united and handed over a memorandum to District Magistrate Rajesh Pandey demanding uninterrupted power supply due to undeclared power cuts in the district.

After giving the memorandum, the city president of Congress party Rehan Siddiqui told the journalists that undeclared power cuts have taken a terrible form in the district. There are severe power cuts from urban areas to rural areas. The government may be claiming to provide 24-hour power, but there is no electricity on the ground. Due to lack of power, the farmers' land is not being irrigated. This is also affecting the industries. The president said that the district administration should stop power cuts. Otherwise, every single worker of the party will have to come forward for the protest.
