Congress stalwarts join BJP: 1370 leaders including Kataria, Mirdha, Yadav, Bairava join BJP

Jaipur, March 10 (HS). Impressed by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, taking a pledge to work shoulder to shoulder for nation building under his leadership, MPs, former ministers, MLAs, Pradhans, Zilla Parishad members and Panchayat Samiti from various political parties came to the BJP state office on Sunday. 1,370 leaders including members joined BJP. The membership induction program was organized in the presence of BJP State President CP Joshi and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

During this, senior Congress leaders, former Union Minister Lalchand Kataria, former MP and former Minister Khiladi Lal Bairwa, former Minister Rajendra Yadav, former MLA Richpal Mirdha, National President of Janata Sena Randhir Singh Bhinder, Deependra Kanwar Bhinder, Alok Beniwal, Vijaypal Singh Mirdha. BJP State President CP Joshi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma welcomed him into the BJP family by wearing the BJP flag and accepting the membership.

Addressing the program, State President CP Joshi said that by blooming lotus on all the 25 Lok Sabha seats of the state, we will garland Prime Minister Modi and this time we will play an important role in achieving the resolution of crossing 400. During the time of previous governments, announcements were missed at the last moment. The present Bhajanlal Sharma government has started working on the resolution letter from day one. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has done important works like ERCP Water Agreement and Yamuna Water Agreement. After 500 years of struggle, by consecrating Prabhu Shri Ram temple, he has strengthened the faith of crores of people associated with Sanatan Dharma. Today, the result is that all the people who believe in Sanatan Dharma have joined BJP.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the aim of BJP is to provide welfare to the person standing at the last mile. At present, political parties will have to tell the public with what purpose they work in politics. When the PM Modi-led government started functioning after 2014, the purpose of the parties ruling since independence changed. The public trusted the Congress party which ruled the country from Panchayat to Parliament, elected it to power, but Congress gave nothing but deception to the public. After independence, the country needed a true nationalist political party, a party that could respect our ancestors who made sacrifices for freedom.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that before 2014, scams worth thousands of crores of rupees were happening every day and terrorist incidents were happening every day. Today a wave of change swept across the country and India's voice was heard in the world. Congress asked for votes in the name of poor and farmers but what did it do for them? That's where we give account of the work we do. Our government will give account of its work to the people of Rajasthan after six months. The Chief Minister said that we demonstrated this by doing the ERCP and Yamuna Water Agreement because we had resolved. Congress always misled the public in the name of ERCP. Despite Congress government in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Congress could not bring ERCP. We have started the work of providing water to three districts of Shekhawati through Yamuna water agreement. Congress people should keep in mind that they will not be able to do selfish politics for long. We have gone among the public with the manifesto, whereas look at the manifesto of our central government, we are working to fulfill the promises made before the elections.

BJP state co-in-charge Vijaya Rahatkar said that BJP is a party which works by taking everyone along and works for all the poor, exploited and deprived young women farmers of this country.

Former Union Minister Lalchand Kataria while addressing said that the conscience was frustrated for a long time. Based on the voice of conscience, I have decided to join the BJP family under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Former MLA Richpal Mirdha said that he was facing problems in Congress for many days and the reason for the problem is that he has worked in Congress for the last 50 years. Congress did not give anything to the society from which I come, and on the platform on which we are standing today, the former Prime Minister of the same party, Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, had given reservation to our society in 1999. Former MP Khiladi Lal Bairava said that PM Modi has a vision of development. Modi is working to fulfill the dream of moving the country forward. Therefore, we have decided that we have to take membership of BJP, because during the previous Congress government, we continuously asked CM Gehlot for one and a half years to work on giving constitutional status to the Scheduled Caste Board but it did not happen. Former minister Rajendra Yadav said that all the 25 Lok Sabha seats of Rajasthan will be in the hands of BJP.

The operation was conducted by former state president Arun Chaturvedi, chairman of the joining committee. During this, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Deputy CM Diya Kumari, former Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathod, former MP Jyoti Mirdha, Chairman of Heritage Authority, Minister of State Omkar Singh Lakhawat, BJP State Vice President Mukesh Dadhich, BJP State General Secretary Damodar Agarwal, Jitendra Gothwal, were on the stage. Shravan Singh Bagdi, State Vice President Nahar Singh Jodha, MLA Kuldeep Dhankar, Bal Mukundacharya, State Office In-charge Mukesh Pareek, and other BJP leaders were present.
