Ranchi, August 30 (HS). In view of the upcoming assembly elections, Girish Chodankar, chairman of the screening committee constituted for Jharkhand, members Poonam Paswan and Prakash Joshi will reach Ranchi on August 31 at 2.30 pm.
In this regard, State Congress spokesperson Sonal Shanti said on Friday that after reaching Ranchi, the office bearers of the screening committee will meet the State Congress President, Legislative Party Leader, former State Congress President, national office bearers from Jharkhand, present and former MPs, Deputy Leader of Legislative Party, Congress Ministers, former Ministers, Presidents of Agrani Morcha Organization on August 31. On August 1, the committee will meet the District Presidents, Presidents of various departments, Boards, Corporations, Commissions and candidates willing to contest the Assembly elections at Congress Bhawan.
In this sequence, the members of the committee will collect detailed information about the political, social, equation, geographical conditions and other aspects for all the assembly constituencies and will review it and will prepare the list of capable candidates.
