No one opposes this, no one has any objection but the promise made by the National Conference through its manifesto for the elections is a matter related to the integrity and unity of the country. He said that therefore the question to the Congress Party, Rahul Gandhi and their allies is whether they support the promises made in the manifesto of the National Conference?
Marandi said that Congress has an alliance with National Conference and Congress is also in power in Jharkhand. Here Congress has a government with JMM. Therefore, along with Congress, JMM should also answer whether they support the promises made in the manifesto of National Conference or not?

Marandi said that at that time the national president of Bharatiya Jana Sangh Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had opposed it. This is why he resigned from the cabinet and founded the Jana Sangh party. At that time a permit was required to go to Jammu Kashmir. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee opposed it and said that it is not right to take a permit to go to one's own country. He did not take the permit and demanded that two heads, two constitutions and two flags will not work in one country. With this call he went to Jammu Kashmir, he was arrested and mysteriously he died in jail.
