Congress leader Munna Singh expressed gratitude for the prompt action of the administration on Shankarpur accident.

Senior Congress Party leader Munna Singh has expressed gratitude towards the district administration for the prompt action taken by the district administration after the tragic road accident on Monday on Shankarpur road. He said that the administration has seriously considered all their demands and assured to take necessary steps. The administration has accepted the demands of implementing no-entry of heavy vehicles on this route, installing speed breakers and warning signs, increasing police patrolling and it has also been implemented from today.

It is noteworthy that 8 year old Aman Kumar and his mother Leela Devi had died tragically in this accident that took place on Shankarpur road. There was an atmosphere of mourning and anger in the entire area due to the incident. Local people had also protested against the lack of road safety measures. Munna Singh said that this accident is extremely sad and unbearable. His priority is to ensure justice for the victim’s family and prevent recurrence of such incidents. He said that the district administration has taken immediate action after the accident.

It is noteworthy that yesterday the local people had protested by blocking the road in protest against the accident. The main demand of the protesters was that the movement of heavy vehicles on this route should be banned and concrete security arrangements should be made on the road. Munna Singh expressed sympathy towards him and demanded strict action from the administration.
