Before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Amin Pathan has suffered a major setback in Rajasthan. According to reports, Amin Pathan was arrested on Sunday for stopping a government team that had come to mark farmhouses as encroachment on forest land in the state. After being in the Bharatiya Janata Party for 25 years, Amin Pathan joined Congress last year.
Anantpura police station area officer Bhupendra Singh has given information in this regard. He said that Amin Pathan, his wife Razia Pathan and several others are accused of misbehaving with government officials, using criminal force and obstructing government work.
He said that Amin Pathan was presented in the court. Here, an order has been received to send Amin Pathan, General Secretary of Rajasthan unit of Congress, to judicial custody. The bail petition filed by Congress leader Amin Pathan has been rejected.
