Raipur, 8 August (HS). State General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Bharatlal Verma has described the statements of Congress leader and former foreign minister Salman Khurshid and senior leader of Madhya Pradesh Congress and former minister Sajjan Verma that Bangladesh like situation is also happening in India, as extremely shameful, undemocratic and indicative of the new anarchist political character of Congress. Mr. Verma said that during the last assembly and Lok Sabha elections itself, Congress kept giving threatening statements like the country will be set on fire if the results are not in its favour. Now after facing a crushing defeat in the elections, Congress is working on its toolkit agenda by becoming a puppet in the hands of anti-national forces. Mr. Verma said that Congress has been trying to create an atmosphere of anarchy in the country for a long time.
BJP State General Secretary Mr. Verma said in his statement today that MP Congress leader Verma's statement that, just like people have entered the Prime Minister's residence in Bangladesh, similarly, due to the policies of Prime Minister Mr. Modi, people will enter his residence too, is a very objectionable statement. Khurshid has also given a similar statement. Expressing surprise at the silence of the central and state leadership of Congress on these statements, Mr. Verma asked the Congress leaders of Chhattisgarh that Rahul Gandhi did not take any action against MP Congress leader Verma, do Bhupesh Baghel, Charandas Mahant, Congress State President Deepak Baij also agree with such statements? Mr. Verma said that Congress has been trying to create an atmosphere of anarchy in the country for a long time. At the instigation of Congress, statements of killing Prime Minister Mr. Modi are being issued continuously – Modi teri kabar khudegi, Modi ko dand se maaro; and now by talking about entering the Prime Minister's residence, the big leaders of Congress are challenging the Constitution as well as the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.
BJP State General Secretary Shri Verma launched a scathing attack and said that Congress is now spewing hatred and venom by spreading lies against the government elected in a democratic system. Congressmen are not leaving any opportunity to malign the name of India and kill the democracy of India. Congress is now completely mixed up with anti-national forces. Congress leader and former Foreign Minister Khurshid also gave a similar statement and no big leader of Congress high command or any state has even commented on it. It is crystal clear that the Congress leadership has tacit consent on these statements.
