Ramgarh, 19 February (HS). Former minister and PCC vice president Yashpal Kundal visited different villages of Ramgarh assembly on Monday and heard the problems of the people. During this period, many supporters of different parties joined the Congress Party.
Kundal welcomed the people attending the party by garlanding them. Addressing the people, Kundal said that unemployment has increased among the unemployed youth in Ramgarh assembly constituency. At the same time, the scope for employment in the industrial sector has reduced. Kundal said that unemployed youth are falling into the trap of drug addiction which needs to be dealt with carefully. Kundal demanded reservation for local youth in the industrial units of Samba and Badi Brahmana so that skilled and unskilled youth from nearby areas can get employment there.
Kundal said that the way BJP has betrayed Jammu, Congress has now emerged as the only ray of hope in Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of India as there is widespread disappointment among the public against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kundal said that there are thousands of daily wage laborers who have been struggling for their rights for a long time. For years, daily wage workers have been taking to the streets to fight for regularization. But they are continuously getting only false promises from BJP.
He said that the Prime Minister who is visiting Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow should make an announcement regarding regularization of daily wage earners within a period of 30-60 days. On this occasion, many people, influenced by the policies of the Congress Party, joined the party. Kundal urged the new members to actively promote the policies of the Congress Party and spread awareness at the grassroots level to strengthen the party's position.
